MEETS After Dark - S Bellevue, Moderate/Brisk

LIGHTS REQUIRED - FENDERS REQUESTED. For your safety, all riders must have a working headlight and taillight to participate in this ride. For the comfort of your fellow riders, we request that riders come with long fenders in case the roads are wet.

Come join us for the Mid-week Eastside Evening Training Series - After Dark. Ride leaders for this week are:

Brisk – James Coliz
Moderate – Rick Wiltfong

Ride Director this week: James Coliz

This week's route: Tam O'Shanter 24 miles, 2500 ft.  Cue sheet coming soon.

MENTORING OPPORTUNITIES - Email the Ride Director to inquire.

Midweek Eastside Evening Training Series After Dark – The MEETS rides are held Wednesday evenings at 6 pm. These training rides incorporate local hills and range between 20-25 miles and from ~1200 to 2000 feet of elevation. Paces offered include Moderate, Brisk, and Strenuous. All use a common course each week.

Riders should be able to sustain the appropriate pace for their selected group, read a cue sheet, change a flat (and have the requisite equipment), and have a positive attitude! Faster riders and better climbers are welcome to join but for them the ride becomes self-paced and self-guided. Riders can ride on their own, in small groups, or with the appropriate pace ride leader. A limited number of cue sheets will be available at ride start so please print your own just in case. The final route and cue sheets will be available the weekend prior to each ride.

Rest stops: There are no planned rest stops as these are short rides. There is NO restroom at the park and ride, so please plan accordingly

Regroup policy: This is a training series, so we ride with the best interest of the group in mind. Riders may need to fall back to a slower pace group, unless you are riding in the last group, in which case the group will regroup as needed to avoid dropping riders. We want everyone to ride hard and have fun and there are multiple pace options to support all riders so no one should feel left behind. Please make sure that you print a cue sheet in case you want to ride ahead or get separated for some reason. Please make sure to print your contact information clearly on the waiver so that we can reach you as necessary

Please RSVP and check back for updates the day of the ride. RSVP is not required, but would be MUCH appreciated.

I picked up a pair of black/white pearl zumi gloves, when leaving the park and ride tonight. They are obviously ladies. Monica, Sandy, either of you loose some?

Such a fun route! Agonizing up the hills but with super rewarding descents. Post this ride again please.

Bummer! Rear wheel bearing is toast. No wonder Greg's ride last Friday was so hard. Going to miss the first not so dark MEETS of the year.

Your attention please... Due to the sunny weather and hilly terrain, a carbon fiber bike is required for today's ride. Thanks for your understanding.

Warmers are only banned if you're Pete.

I think you won that challenge, Pete.
