CATS Eastside Week 14 - 56mi Brisk/Strenuous

Details
Join us for the 2014 Cascade Advanced Training Series (CATS), Eastside edition. This is a series for experienced riders building to a successful one-day STP, a strong RAMROD finish--or both! Saturdays from April 5th through July 5th, rides typically depart from points around the Eastside, building from 55-120 miles. Please read through the CATS Eastside Rider Guide (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jsb976DlPI9ivK4i8YGUUs23-q-8A2KiCPTklGl07FY) for a full schedule and details about how we roll.
If this is your first one-day STP, or you're looking to arrive in Portland before the beer runs out, finishing CATS Eastside every weekend will help. You'll enter the summer a stronger, more prepared rider. You'll meet new friends looking to achieve similar goals. You'll learn tips and techniques for a strong double century ride from other riders who have done it before.
Choose your pace from the three offered: Brisk, Strenuous, or the special 'Goldilocks' pace in between the two. These are 'stay-together' rides, emphasizing team cohesion and higher-speed group riding skills.
Remember to bring the tools needed to change flats or adjust your bike. The group will generally not wait for flats, mechanical issues, or bonked riders. You may need to finish the ride on your own, or have a backup plan. Please bring a cue sheet and a cell phone just in case.
