Sumner to the Bay (39 Miles, 1000' Elevation, Moderate)

We will ride from the Sumner Fred Meyer over to Tacoma's Ruston Way. Ever wonder what riding through parts of the Port of Tacoma, over a bridge or two, some back alleys to be rewarded with views of Puget Sound and Commencement Bay would be like? This is the ride for it. We will stop for coffee right before Ruston Way at a cafe next to Old Town Bicycle.

We meet at east side of Fred Meyer parking lot, next to the Garden center. Please bring tubes, pumps etc and arrive early enough to prepare your bike, hear the SMART talk and roll at 9:00.

While this ride is mostly flat there are some hills and a couple short steep pitches ... we will regroup. Moderate Pace: 14 - 16
