Sumner - Edgewood - Pt Defiance (60 miles, 2153' elevation, Moderate)

How about a ride that has a little of everything? Country roads, Trails, City streets, Industrial areas, Bridges, Puget Sound Views and Parks. We will leave Sumner, climb up to Edgewood, roll past Enchanted Parks, drop down to the Port of Tacoma, cross the 11th street Bridge into Tacoma, ride Ruston Way to PT Defiance Park. The 5 mile loop through the park is closed to vehicle traffic until 1:00 PM.

We will have rest stops along the way including at least one for coffee.

Meet at Fred Meyer in Sumner, east end of parking lot next to garden center.

Please bring all needed tubes, tools, etc. Arrive early enough to prepare your bike, sign waiver and listen to SMART briefing.
