(Heaven & Hills) Alki, Normandy Park, Lake Wash. Loop, Brisk/Moderate 51 Miles

51.3 miles 2,666 feet elevation gain. This is a beautiful ride counterclockwise around West Seattle. We will follow the Coast line to Normandy Park then go inland to the Interurban trail. We will then take the trail North to Lake Washington and follow the West side of the lake to I-90. Finally we take the I-90 trail back West to West Seattle. The first half has most of the climbing before Lunch. After lunch we digest while traveling on the flat interurban trail. Then some more hills for a fun finish. Helmets required. This ride does not have a sweep. You will have to sign a Cascade waiver. My friends from COGS may come as well. I go at a Brisk pace on the flats but slow down closer to moderate on the hills. Many Riders actually end up walking part of Shoerwood Drive. Will you?
