CTS Rides Again #5 -Full Lake Loop, 50 miles, 2,200' Four Paces, FINAL of SERIES

Details
CTS Rides Again is a series of five Sunday rides (July 13, 20, 27, and August 3 and 10) following the conclusion of 2014 CTS series to help riders prepare for the RSVP, RAW, and other challenging rides. This is the fifth and final ride of the CTS-RA series. It is a little easier than some of our other rides, since it is just five days before the big RSVP ride.
We have chosen five of the best rides from the Cascade Training Series (CTS) series to ride again. We will have ride leaders for four different paces (Red/Leisurely, 10-12 mph on flats; Yellow/Steady, 12-14 mph on flats; Green/Moderate, 14-16 mph on flats; & Blue/Brisk,, 16-18 on flats) each Sunday.
These are part of the club’s Free Daily Rides program and are open to anyone. Join us for one, or two rides, or be a real trooper and ride all five. You decide what works for you. We will try to have two or three ride leaders per pace so it is very important that you RSVP on MEETUP at least two days prior to each ride. This will allow us to secure additional ride leaders if a large number of riders wish to ride at a particular pace.
These rides are not supported. We will provide short rest stops along the route, but please come prepared with your own food and beverages. Please email the Ride Director with any questions/concerns.
TODAY'S RIDE: NOTE - WE START at Bellevue Park+Ride
(Not @ Magnuson as listed on the printed flyers)
This is a classic clockwise loop around beautiful Lake Washington with rolling hills and a few good climbs. Starting at South Bellevue Park and Ride we ride over the Mercer Slough and head south to Renton and along Rainier Avenue. We then head north to Seward Park for a scenic ride along the west side of the lake. We continue past the UW and Magnuson Park around the top of the lake where we start our climb into Kirkland and then back to Bellevue.
TODAY'S REST STOPS: Seward Park at mp 14.8 and Log Boom Park at mp 34.3

It is very helpful if you RSVP on MEETUP at least two days prior to each ride. This will allow us to secure additional ride leaders if a large number of riders wish to ride at a particular pace. This will also allow you to get updates if there is a possible cancellation and for group communications.
Ride Director: Paul Soreff (206-549-4341 cell) pauls@sorefflaw.com
As customary for all Cascade rides, please make sure you wear a helmet and have necessary gear and knowledge to fix any flats you might get along the way. The group will not stop for flats or mechanicals, but our sweeps will ensure you have a cue sheet to continue the ride.
