Walla Walla Weekend- Fall Edition (Steady/Moderate/Brisk/Vigorous/Strenuous)

Details
Come join us for our annual fall trip to beautiful Walla Walla. You will love the change of pace from Seattle -- long stretches of road with little traffic, less hurried drivers, and lots of great sights to see.
This is a three day weekend of riding, but feel free to join for whichever rides work for your schedule -- Friday (https://www.meetup.com/cascaderides/events/200452092/) (9:30 AM), Saturday (https://www.meetup.com/cascaderides/events/205887812/) (8:30 AM), and Sunday (https://www.meetup.com/cascaderides/events/205889232/) (9 AM). Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the ride start time to sign a liability form and get ready to roll out at the time listed. We will start the weekend with a nice 55-65 miles ride on Friday, followed by the longest ride on Saturday, then shorter recovery ride on Sunday. Paces offered will be steady (12-14 on flats), moderate (14-16 mph on flats), brisk (16-18 on flats), vigorous (18-20 on flats), and strenuous (20-21 on flats).
Friday's ride will start from Five Star Cellars ( http://www.fivestarcellars.com/) near the Walla Walla airport. This is a winery in an area that has many wineries (and a brewery) nearby, so I am hoping you will stay a while and explore. Light food will be provided at this venue. Please bring cash for tipping! Five Star wines are very good. The wineries will be processing fruit ("crush") while we are there, so we may get to see some action!

As customary for all Cascade rides, please make sure you wear a helmet and have necessary gear and knowledge to fix any flats you might get along the way. The group will not stop for flats or mechanicals, but our sweeps will ensure you have a cue sheet to continue the ride.
Hotel Information: Many are staying at the Red Lion. If that is full, the Super 8, Travelodge, America's Best Value, La Quinta, and Hampton In are all options (in order of general price). The Travelodge is almost next door to the Red Lion on Main Street. The Quinta and Best Value are right at the main WW highway exit and 3 blocks from Main Street. Super 8 is out towards the Comm College and Hampton Inn is a little further East. Also, there is a new Best Western Plus in Dayton -- 30 minute drive from WW. Neat little town we will explore on route.
