FRUMPS: Kent-Black Diamond Bakery Loop (Brisk/52.5 Miles/1556' elev.)

Details
We will start at Three Friends Fishing Hole, a City of Kent park located next to the Green River Trail. Restrooms and water are available at start. The route is flat along scenic SE Green Valley Road to Flaming Geyser State Park, then climbs one hill (regroup at top) on the way to the Black Diamond Bakery, where we'll stop for a break and food. The ride continues along gently rolling terrain, before reaching a challenging, winding and fun descent, after which the route is again flat back to the start point. If you're a fit moderate rider, and have been considering an end of summer step up to brisk, this may be the ride for you.
The map, cue sheet and route profile are here: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/5647288 .
Riders should print the cue sheet and have a spare tube, tools and the know-how to fix a flat. Please arrive by 9:15 AM, leaving ample time to get your bike ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the SMART safety briefing so we can roll at 9:30 AM.
The ride leader will not be at the ride start should weather meet the definition for cancellation (showers). Ride cancellation will be announced in the Comments Section below, at least two (2) hours prior to the ride start.
