  • Come join us on this favorite ride from Pine Lake to Snoqualmie Ridge and back. The route boasts scenic lakes, Snoqualmie Falls, fun climbs and sweeping descents - and a coffee stop!

    There will be multiple paces:
Steady: Joni Griffis, Sam Miller & Zach Johnson
Moderate: Majid Hadji, Sharon Chen & Judy Fyffe
Brisk: Sandi Navarro, Chao Chen & Sam Turpin                       Vigorous: Francis Gan

Riders should be able to sustain the appropriate pace for their selected group, read a cue sheet, change a flat (and have the requisite equipment; groups will not stop for mechanicals), and have a positive attitude! Please print a cue sheet and bring it with you in case you get separated from the group. Riders should arrive 20 minutes early and be ready to ride at 9am.
    Steady rain cancels.

Raining at the start, with forecast for rain all day. Ride is officially cancelled - sorry, we'll try again some other day!

It's beautiful outside just for ridding.

The forecast is actually improving. There is a 20% chance of rain at the start. We will likely encounter some scattered showers but hopefully the majority of the ride will be dry.

Wet in Seattle so not likely dry in Pine Lake so I am staying home on this one.

Since we're on the topic of fenders, please have buddy flaps that get to within 3" or less off the ground a fender that ends 6-12" off the ground may as well not be there as far as those riding behind you are concerned.

Can I still ride if I don't have fenders? :(

    August 29, 2014

    • Joni Meisner G.

Yes, but you may be asked to ride behind the others in your pace group.

I just had my fenders put on, and look! Sunshine! A good omen for tomorrow....

40% chance of rain in the Pine Lake area at 9 am, and about a 30% chance the remainder of the morning/early afternoon. There are a few easy bailout points where the loops overlap.

It could be wet but not cold. Fender is a good idea for sure. I put mine on.
