CBC Open House Ride Seattle (moderate 14-16 mph)

It's the day of Cascade Bicycle Club's open house for their new location. Let's get a ride in before getting to the club for the festivities. We'll start at the current office location, the first building to the right as you enter Magnuson Park via 74th Ave NE from Sand Point Way, ride around the city for a bit, and end at the open house just a short ride away from the start in Magnuson Park. The full route is around 17 miles with some hills but there are bail out points to shorten the ride if severe rain hits during the ride. We will kill time at a nearby cafe in the case of inclement weather if we're done before the open house begins at 10:00 AM. Riders are expected to be able to keep the advertised pace. If you want to ride slower or faster than the group's pace, please print yourself a cue sheet as you will be self guided. We will regroup at traffic lights and after hill climbs within reason. Long fenders with flaps are required if we are riding in wet weather and lights are recommended, and bring what you need to be able to change your own flats, please come to the ride prepared. Please show up 15 minutes early for a ride briefing and to sign the safety waiver.
