Lake Sammamish Loop (Steady & Brisk Paces)

Details
There will be two paces: Steady (Al Miller) and Brisk (Alan Lawrence)
A social ride around Lake Sammamish using the Newport Way approach to Issaquah. Rest Stop planned at Starbucks. This just might be the better alternative to joining the crowds at the shopping malls! A great end-of-season cruising ride or a great start to getting ready for the New Year riding. You are going to make a New Year's resolution to ride more? Right? [And, yes, we have a New Year's Day ride scheduled already for your pleasure to keep your resolutions starting on Day One!]
Riders should be able to sustain the appropriate pace for their selected group, or ride independently. Please come with the skills and equipment to change a flat; the group does not stop for mechanicals. Print contact information clearly on the waiver so that we can reach you in case you become separated. Cue sheet and Map info provided below - please print or download to your Garmin type device if desired.
Please plan to be at the start about 15 min early to sign the waiver form, have the Safety briefing, and so we can leave on time
FOR WET CONDITIONS, FENDERS STRONGLY REQUESTED. Please come with long fenders including a buddy flap if the roads are wet. Without them, you will be asked to ride in the back of the group.
This ride is also posted on Cascade.org - if you plan to come, an RSVP here on Meetup would be appreciated but not required
