Will Ride for Ice Cream (Brisk) 45

Join me for a ride to Snohomish for make-it-yourself frozen yogurt. We will start from the small parking lot at the trail head across from Sixty Acres park in Redmond (off 116th AVE), do some hills (yes, they are a little steep), then hit the valley out to Snohomish. We'll head to the Top It Yogurt Shoppe at about mp 20 (or Snohomish Bakery across the street if you prefer), then head back adding a climb up Fales Road to Paradise Valley road, then up and over Education Hill back to the start.

Regroups/Mechanicals: We will regroup occasionally if the group gets spread out. We will not stop for mechanical issues so ensure that you have the necessary equipment you need to take care of flats or other problems. Please print a cue sheet or download the route map in the event that you get separated from the group.

Rest stops: There are porta-potties near the start but no bathrooms with water. We will stop again at ~ mp 20 for refreshments.

Pace: The posted pace is brisk (16-18 mph on flats). We will keep true to the pace, so if you plan to ride faster or slower, please come prepared to ride on your own.

Requirements: Please make sure to arrive 20 mintues before the ride start so you can get prepared to roll out at the posted time and sign a waiver. As is required with all Casaced rides, please ensure you wear a helmet and come prepared with gear that is comfortable and appropriate for the distance/elevation.

RSVP: Please RSVP for the ride via Meetup. It helps us know how many are coming and recruit additional ride leaders if need. Plus, concersation and photos happen there which is all part of the experience.

Cancellation Policy: The weather is supposed to be cloudy, but in the event that the forecast changes to showers, the ride leaders will not be at the ride start. Look for a posting of the ride cancellation two hours before the scheduled start time.
