!!!! LIGHTS front and back MANDATORY !!!!
For a last time this SEROW season we will fly down into the Snohomish Valley (we will have one more ride next week though). We will do an unusual swoop around Snohomish, via the Ebey Slough and beautiful Sexton Rd. We head back via Springhetti and a gradual climb on Hwy9/Cathcart.
Stats: 26.6 miles and 1303 elevation
Paces offered today: Steady and Moderate
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. There is no scheduled rest stop. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled by 4:00 pm, it will be posted in the comment section. In that case the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.
