Details

Invitation: Come and join us for an evening ride from mid April though August. The routes are about 25-28 miles and check out pretty places and views throughout Everett, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Snohomish Valley, Mukilteo and Edmonds. They are both urban and rural in character. Paces are offered as ride leaders are available.

Route and Cue sheet for today:

Cue sheets will no longer be provided at the start - please print your own copy.

!!!! LIGHTS front and back MANDATORY !!!!

Sadly, today is the last SEROW ride; the setting sun is chasing us off of the road. The SEROW crowd has been such a nice bunch of riders and two riders have even become ride leaders! Thanks to all the ride leaders who faithfully volunteered their time to make this happen.

Today's route has familiar elements: A little tour around Boeing, then pass Everett Mall and a swirl through Silver Firs. To celebrate this wonderful season, we will have an ice-cream social around MP20 before we finish the last few miles to the parking lot of the Archbishop Murphy High School.

Stats: 23.4 miles and 974 feet elevation

Paces offered today: Steady and Moderate

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. There is no scheduled rest stop. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled by 4:00 pm, it will be posted in the comment section. In that case the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.
