Saturday Morning Rides in Snohomish County: Come and check out the the beauty of Snohomish County this fall; we will cover pretty much every corner! Routes start around 35 miles at the beginning of each month and increase to about 50-55 miles at the end of each month. The elevation averages 50ft/mile.

It might be a ways to get to the start, but you'll be embraced by the sleeping cities of Marysville, Lake Stevens and Arlington, the views of Mt Baker, Lake Cassidy, the Tulalip Bay and wide fields of something green, tribal art, and miles and miles of uninterrupted pedaling! Although the route goes through towns and will follow the Centennial Trail for a while, it should be considered a rural route; it's very pretty! Please be prepared with snacks and two water bottles.

Rest stop: MP 19.2 Legion Memorial Park (restrooms only), MP 32.3 Haggen, Subway, Taco Time - as of 10/22 the Starbucks is closed, MP 42.2 Kayak Point (rest rooms only)

Moderate (14-16 mi/h) with Mark Keithly and Michael Silverstein
Brisk (16-18 mi/h) with Jack Nolan and Mike Upstall

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain/snow or unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:00 am in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.
