Be awake and ready to enjoy all the views on this route! Views of the Snohomish Valley, the Cascade Mountains, Mt Baker, the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains and Silver Lake. So we will dive into the Snohomish Valley, ride through the edge of Snohomish up to Ebey Slough and into Everett. There we will enjoy the opening of Grand Ave and take it all the way around to our rest stop at MP 26.8 Seas The Day Cafe with an absolute gorgeous view. Then we will have a few short but steep climbs to get away from the waterfront. Last we will go around Silver Lake to return to the start.

Stats: 39.8 miles and 1876ft elevation

Rest stop: MP 26.8 Seas The Day Cafe

Paces and Ride Leaders:

Steady (12-14 mi/h) with Larry DeBardi and Melanie Kelsey

Moderate (14-16 mi/h) with Lee Gustafson and Michael Cunanan

Brisk (16-18 mi/h) with Mike Upsall and Daniel Kelly

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain/snow or unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:00 am in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.
