With much pleasure we will support Tiffany Chappell Withington getting one step closer to becoming a ride leader! She has chosen and created the route for us that takes us along Silver Lake, then through Silver Firs, some pretty rural roads and finally the tree lined roads in Mill Creek take us back to the start.
Cue-sheets are not provided; please print your copy.
On line registration: http://www.cascade.org/node/24225/register
Stats: 26 miles, 1200ft elevation
Brief Rest stop: MP 11.6 Willis Tucker Park Restrooms
Ride Leaders: Dorothé Reijnders and Larry DeBardi
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; I want us to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended at all times! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain/snow or unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:30 am in the comment section. In that case the ride leader will not be at the start.
