Double NERD (Brisk - 40mi, 2235ft)

Come join us for a hilly adventure around up to Silver Lake and down to Northgate. We'll ride at brisk pace on the flats, starting at Lynnwood Transit Center, in the SE corner by the Interurban trail.

The route is a combination of two routes from the NERD series, making it a Double NERD ride. NERD (Northside Evening Rides before Dark) is a midweek series that runs during the warmer months (start 3/24) when we have more daylight available in the evening. This combination allows for greater distance on the weekend with a lot of climbing.

• Riders must arrived 15 minutes before the start time, to listen to the safety briefing and sign the waiver. Riders who miss the safety briefing will not be able to ride with us.

• All riders should carry tools, spare tubes, and have the ability to change a flat. Please dress for the weather, and include fenders on your bike.

• There are no planned rest stops on this ride, but we pass through/near parks where we can refill water bottles if needed. Other than water, please bring whatever you plan to consume.

NOTE: In addition to showers, rain, ice/snow and any other hazardous conditions will cancel a ride. If a ride is cancelled due to hazardous conditions, it will be posted here in the comment section by 7:00 a.m. and ride leaders will not be waiting at the start.
