CANCELLED :: 164th Hill Repeats in SnoCo (Steady)

Details
About the Ride:
This ride is intended to be a short, intense workout for people with a wide range of fitness levels. We will be doing hill repeats on a hill of varying grades. We will head out from Cathcart Elementary School and make our way to Broadway until reaching 164th Street Hill at mile 2, allowing our legs to warm up. 164th hill is 7/10ths of a mile. The first pitch has a short and intense grade that decreases (slightly) at 2.5 miles into the ride. The remaining 5/10 of a mile on this hill is a moderate grade. We will ride up the first pitch all the way to the top (just before reaching Hwy 9) and then rest our legs on the downhill. Additional repeats done at your own pace, the intention of this ride is to get as far as you can before turning around. You can do as many repeats as you want.
Rather than riding for a fixed distance, this ride is designed to be 75 minutes long. The total distance and elevation each rider travels, will depend on their pace.
I am posting this ride at a steady pace (12-14 MPH), but it is open to anyone capable of riding steady or faster. While slower riders might do 1 or 2 repeats, faster riders may do 4 or 5.

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding starts 10 minutes before ride start. It is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe!
Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled by 4:00 pm, it will be posted in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.
