Announcing a new Meetup for Center for Inquiry Austin!

What: FIELD TRIP: King Tut in Dallas

When: January 11,[masked]:30 AM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

Meetup Description: Join our Secular Family Network on a Field Trip to the Dallas Museum of Art to see the exhibition "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs." This is a family event and all are welcome!
We will leave Sunday morning from a location (north Austinish) and either caravan up or you can get a seat on our 15 passenger van. Cost to Dallas and back on the van will most likely be around $13. 10 seats are already taken - if we get this one filled and have more interested in riding we may rent another one! Also, if you have a larger vehicle and would be interested in carpooling, please contact me.
We will have lunch together around noon and then see the exhibit at 1 pm. There is a short 3D Imax type movie on ancient Egypt that those interested can watch before we leave around 4 pm. Arrival back into Austin around 7 pm.

Museum entrance (includes King Tut): Children under 5 are free. 18 years and under $15. Adults $32.50. There is a family discount (2 adults/2kids) that is offered until Jan. 18 which will save you $18.
Groups visiting on a weekend only get a discount on the processing fee: normally it would be an extra $3 per person, but as a group it is a flat rate of $10.
Imax 3D Movie: $5

Stay tuned and please send me your interest for this field trip so I can plan accordingly. It will be fun!
