Fun to have an daytime event. We'll have to figure out how to do more of these. The morning I/O keynotes were my favorite part of the day, but it was cool to watch some of the sessions in a room full of beer drinking engineers.

was expecting something along the lines of a live simulcast instead of events, not replays of previously recorded webcasts

Hey John. Everything we were watching was live streams from the conference.

Very enjoyable, though it would have been even more awesome if we got both projectors working and turned up the volume some. Thanks to those who organized and ran this event. And thanks to my friends at Orbitz for making me aware of it.

Thank you Mattie for organizing this - it helped to meet a few faces along with the vast information Google was pumping out today.

Those who are hungry can head next door to Pleasant House and order food for delivery at the bar. PH is on the Eater 38. Tip: Try the gravy chips

Google IO extended event at Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar is today...I'm so excited. I should be there around 4pm...if you get there before me, tell EdMar or one of the bartenders, you're here for Google IO. Beer specials will be in effect.

I LOVE that I click this link on my Mac, click the install button, pick my device and the app instantly starts to download on my Galaxy Note. So much good with the Androids.

Probably worth mentioning the $3 bartenders choice (bottles) at Maria's. For the undecided or adventurous.

Thanks David. I will try anything. Often times like IPAs, lagers and reds.

I'm trying to work us a beer deal. Any beer or custom cocktail preferences? I'm a porter and sazerac kinda guy.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
