What we’re about
This group is all about live music, music-related events, and meeting other music-crazed fans in the Chicago area. Genres don't matter so much as long as you have a passion for music and making real connections with others.
Our Events
Unlike a lot of other meetup groups, we allow ALL MEMBERS to create events! We want to make sure to give our members the most concert-going opportunities as possible. And the best way to do that is to crowd-source the events we offer by giving you guys the power to create events for the shows you plan on going to.
Note: Our goal is to have members that RSVP for an event make plans to meet and hang out during the show. Please only post events you plan on attending yourself and want to find others to join you (e.g. no posts solely for the purpose of promoting an event). A full tutorial on how to post an events and tips on how to organize members for meeting up is in the works, so keep an eye out for that!
Non-Shows
We will also host what we call Non-Shows throughout the year. These are bar socials for members to get to know each other and just have fun. Usually they also have a theme and/or special playlist created for that event.
