Drupal Sprint Weekend Day 1

** Get started with our shared sprint doc. **

Drupal Sprint Weekend is a chance to join with others around the world to help make Drupal better.

In a Sprint we work together to fix issues or improve parts of Drupal. At this sprint we'll focus our work on Drupal 8 core. This is a chance to contribute back to the project, dig deeper into Drupal, and learn to navigate and participate in the community.

If you've built or worked on a Drupal site, you can contribute; we'll find a place for all levels to participate. If you don't have programming skills, you can work on documentation or something else.

Persa Zula and Bart McPherson will be cat-herding (facilitating) Saturday's sprint.

Please bring a laptop, and if possible, before coming:

See the Install Drupal Locally lesson of the Drupal Ladder for help. If that was all jibberish to you, that's what you'll be working on first. :)

Saturday we will be in Main Classroom (MC), Room 102. This is the same room the February meetup was located. The most convenient place to park is Lot 22, under the plaza next door.

Check out the campus map ahead of time to get your bearings:

And please consider coming both days (see Day 2): come do your part to help make Drupal 8 awesome!

Very helpful. Thanks to Persa for organizing a great deal of information in a clear and concise way. I'm now in a much better position to be a productive Drupal user and contributor.

Thank Bart and Jeff, too :) It was all a collaborative effort, and Jeff had a great starting point for us!
