In the Loop: Cedar Lee / Marottas

From: Jims
Sent on: Saturday, August 8, 2009 3:03 PM
Hi everyone

A number of great movies coming up.

1st of all, we have a movie about the Iraq war. Hurt Locker is already getting Oscar Buzz. If you want to see "the" movie that defines this war Hurt Locker is the one. It is this Thursday at the Cedar Lee. It starts at the Stone Oven at 7.

2nd of all, we have another movie about the Iraq War. In the loop is a British satire about politicians and war. Sort of a Spinal tap for politicians. While the story is fictional, it really isn't all that fictional.
When: August 19,[masked]:00 PM

2289 Lee Rd
Cleveland, OH 44118

In between the "war" movies we have glamor and Breakfast at Tiffany's at Cinema at the Square. I wish to thank Bill for arranging free passes to the rest of the festival for anyone who attends dinner at Bricco. Dinner starts at 7:00.

A number of us attended Young Frankenstein. These classic movies are meant to be seen on the big screen.

Then, on Saturday, we will be seeing stars while watching the movies since the Cinematheque will be showing comedy classics outdoors. Dinner starts at 7:00.
Fee: $1.50 or $5 for 2009.

Hope to see you at one or more of these events.

We are still looking for a few more assistant organizers. Please let me know if you are available to help out.

Thanks, Jim
