Nine - Cinemark Valley View / LockK?
Hi Movie Friends!
I have just posted an exciting film, Nine,
that will provide a little change of pace the day after Christmas. If you have tired of Jingle Bells, Mistletoe and Plum Pudding by then, this will provide a needed respite.
It?s a real change of pace ? a musical of all things. Many of us have seen the trailers at the Cedar Lee that have been running for months. If the film is half of what the trailers are, then we?ll be in for a treat. We?ll be viewing Nine
at the Cinemark in Valley View which should be really easy for our members to the west and south and not too bad for east siders as well.At presstime, we didn't have a firm time for the screening schedule. Please assume a start time between 6 and 7 p.m. A firm time will be posted as soon as CineMark determines the schedule. The After-Party will occur about two hours later.
We?ll also be going back to LockKeepers which is actually a classy contemporary Italian establishment and a very fitting match for Nine.
Last time we were there in June, LockKeepers brought out a spread of complementary appetizers that challenged our waistlines. They?ll do that again this time with; shrimp, crab cakes, mussels, tuna tartaro, and sausage stuffed peppers - all complementary. Amazing!
Judging from the trailers, Nine
is wall-to-wall babes, lush photography, great choreography and lots of singing. It might be just what the winter needs: a hot, exuberant, all-singing, all-dancing fantastic spectacle! It is a welcome recess following the Christmas holiday. Consider this a mini-vacation before returning to the real world next week.
Also, don?t forget that there is still time to RSVP for Cherry Blossoms
See you at the Movies ? soon!
