Learn Responsive Web Design UsingTwitter Bootstrap 3 is a 15 hour, two day professionally instructed course, jammed packed with labs, detailed explanations of Bootstrap concepts, and code samples. After this 15 hour training, you will have the knowledge to implement this powerful framework for your own projects!

What is Bootstrap?
Bootstrap is an open-source front-end toolkit to help designers and developers quickly and efficiently build awesome stuff online. Today, it has grown to include dozens of components and has become the most popular project on GitHub with more than 13,000 watchers!

Why Bootstrap?
Creating responsive designs requires a lot of time and effort. Bootstrap provides you with the basic framework for creating a responsive website. You don’t need to code anything yourself. Just include the appropriate pre-written code from Bootstrap into your website and you’ll be all set with your very own responsive web design!

I want to attend the class but I won't be able to make it till 11am. How much will I miss if I am delayed by 2 hours? Can I cover up later in the evening for that? I will be fine for the next Sat but its just on Feb 1 that I have an issue. Will this class be scheduled again?

Any chance this will be repeated later on? I may be out of town on Feb 8th.

I have made some basic html web pages using Bootstrap. Is it critical that I have JavaScript experience to take this class? I am studying Ruby.

    January 14, 2014

    • Phillip N.

Hello Michael. Javascript experience is not required, but it helps. This class will not be going into depth with Javascript. It will however cover Bootstrap's Javascript plugins.

    • Jeff W.

rockin'. Great answer. I've actually studied a lot of javascript online (Lynda.com, etc) but it doesn't seem to stick. I think it would be good for me to need to use a little of it in this class as a way to actually learn it in real world practice. So your answer is exactly what I needed to hear. Looking forward to it.
