ABOUT THIS SESSION:
Our 6pm (US ET) talk on Thursday Oct 22 will be Isaac Dealey presenting , "CacheBox - the Hot-Swappable Caching Service for ColdFusion".
TOPIC DESCRIPTION:
Caching is a great way to speed up your applications or scale them up to support more traffic, or both! Get an introduction to the CacheBox framework and learn how you can use (as well as contribute to) a project that will both simplify and strengthen caching for everyone in the ColdFusion community. We're approaching a 1.0 release candidate with hot-swappable engines including memcached, disk, database and other forms of storage, cluster synchronization and even a handy management application. Together lets make caching more portable, extensible, personal and powerful.
SPEAKER:
Isaac Dealey is an Adobe Community Expert for ColdFusion and an entrepreneur with a diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome, a form of autism. Isaac's work with ColdFusion dates back to version 3 in 1998 and you can read more about his involvement with the autism community and how he plans to create meaningful employment for people with autism and asperger syndrome at www.autlabs.com.
RECORDING: As always, the meeting will be recorded, and the recording URL will be posted after the meeting at http://recordings.col....
