August potluck with VERY special guest, Jon Camp!!

I am super excited to have Jon Camp return for another presentation on how we can ALL make a difference for our animal friends! Jon just recently got inducted into the Animal Rights Hall of Fame for passing out over 1 million leaflets over the course of his 10 years of work with Vegan Outreach. Jon is a very special human being and this is a very special opportunity to meet and learn from someone who has a very unique position and vantage point in the animal rights movement.

Come join us at our monthly potluck for delicious food and friendly conversation. Afterward, we're excited to present a nationally-known vegan activist: Jon Camp, Executive Vice President of Vegan Outreach, speaking on "Effective Vegan Advocacy."

Using humor and his experiences from ten years on the road for Vegan Outreach, Jon will discuss the importance of focusing our advocacy efforts on farm animals, the increasing receptivity towards veganism and farm animal issues, and how we can further accelerate this progress. Potluck info: bring a vegan dish--no meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, eggs or honey--to serve eight, with recipe card or list of ingredients and serving utensil. Please also bring your own reusable table service.

Over the last ten years, Jon Camp has traveled throughout the United States leafleting and giving talks at colleges. In this time, he has personally given out over a million booklets to students while simultaneously running Vegan Outreach's Adopt a College campaign. Jon's thoughts on advocacy have been featured in a variety of books and documentaries.
