last night and upcoming stuff

i want to thank  everyone that helped with set up and break down, last night! the breakdown was a breeze thanks to the army of folks who pitched in. thank you so much!!

we had another really nice potluck and  thanks to dale and lynn for their  vegan cheese and butter demo & tasting.  the last frontier of vegan food has been conquered. break the "liquid meat" addiction. there are some exciting nut cheeses launching commercially, very soon- raw, gluten free and fantabulous.  there are also "do it yourself" cheese/milk/butter recipes that are everywhere these days. you can live without cow's breast milk meant for her babies. i sware, you can. and it takes three weeks of being off the crap for the cravings to lesson or totally go away. and if you need an extra push/motivation...just think of the babies!!! learn more about cow's milk products here:

upcoming events: ask a vegan at himalayas, vegan food shopping tour at whole foods, the neat market. check meetup page for these and other upcoming events.

please consider printing out the attached flyer on the Boulder (and Beyond!) Vegan Meetup flyer and hang it in your super market, employee lounge, community bulletin board, etc. i think the more folks that see there is vegan community, the more vegans will feel supported and stay committed. and more vegans is less animals tortured.

as always, let me know what you want out of this meetup and how it can support your veg journey.

peace and peas on all our plates,
ps- who wants to host a video night?? for 6-10 or so folks? there are some excellent documentaries coming out that we should all be viewing and sharing. i am looking at what the costs are for a video machine and what it would take to do a video in the clubhouse. until then, it would be nice to do it at a home.;-)
