Hi amazing V community,
i am still smiling from how awesome today went and the AMAZING people who helped SOO much and the wonderful community of people that attended. I am forever grateful to so many that helped so much. i was remiss in not acknowledging super helper michelle and frida, ale, andrea and alexandria and for so many that were willing to chip in but we didn't need it!! ;-) and andi and ted cleaned my kitchen so i have zero dishes to do. gratitude galore.

i hate to write this next part and in the scheme of things it is no big deal.... but, we collected FAR less than we should have- :(   i didn't have anyone in the front collecting and giving out name tags until a little later than we started. if you forgot to chip in please do so next time.  thanks for understanding.

Things i would have liked to have done better and will next time: made it a zero waste event. i feel terrible i didn't plan for this and will next time. thanks, andrea for reminding me of the importance of this.

i will never forget the compassionate kids celebration and from what i have heard from a lot of the parents the children loved it and felt prideful and celebrated and loved. that was a purely joyful few minutes for me. it was over way too fast.;-) this was just a reminder for me to prioritize a Celebration of Compassionate Kids in a bigger way. stay tuned.

thank you for being part of this meetup and for your such kind support tonight.. everyone was so gigantically  gracious.

as always, give me your input, let me know what you'd like to see out of this meetup. how can we continue to be of service to each other on this vegan journey?

for the animals,

ps- if anyone took photos can you post to the meetup event page. thank you!
