Jill's at the St Julien

HI everyone,

I hope this finds you all enjoying the crazy spring weather we are having.

I wanted to put out a plug for the very vegan friendly Jill's at the St Julien.

As some of you know they have an all vegan buffet every Friday. All you can eat from the bounty of the plant world. They have an amazing pizza bar with all kinds of toppings ranging from fig & arugula and caramelized onions & eggplant and roasted peppers and much much more. They always have two delicious soups. This past Friday it was creamy parsnip that was delicious velvety creaminess. They also offer many kinds of salads and toppings galore, and grain and bean veggie dishes. I rarely get to them all before I am full. And the wide variety of desserts always includes an assortment of fruits with dark chocolate to dunk into, as well as puddings, cakes, cobblers and  they always have a gluten free option. The desserts  will knock your socks off.

Please do go out of your way to support this offering as it will go away if we don't. If you have friends/family or colleagues make it a special date to take them out to eat on Fridays at Jill's. Let your place of work know about this fabulous  "all you can eat buffet" with locally sourced and organic produce, not to mention you are also supporting a locally owned business that is vegan owned . For an all you can eat gourmet delicious whole foods buffet for $12.95 you will not be disappointed, and your animal eating friends will love it -and they'll get more fiber, phytonutrients, minerals, vitamins in their diets in this one meal then likely their entire week.;-) But really they will. Because this buffet is like no other in Boulder. This buffet  is a  whole foods, low oil,  "unprocessed" plant smorgasboard.

One other thing we can all do as "5 minute activism" is to  write a positive review of Jill's over here : This  would also help get the word out and ensure that we can continue to have this very special offering for the Boulder and beyond community.  https://www.otrestaurant.com/

Lastly, please don't wait to make your RSVP for Jill's very special vegan Earth Day event. I am so disappointed to miss it so you have to tell me how it is in detail. This is such a great date night or just a special meal with your loved ones. Supporting these vegan offerings is a tasty way to spread veganism in  Call this number for to make your RSVP:  http://www.stjulien.com/d/dining   [masked]

If you haven't figured out yet, I think supporting vegan offerings at non vegan  businesses is a very important way to promote compassionate eating to a wide audience and a way to plant vegan seeds that are delicious and easy.

See  some of you at this Saturday's potluck!

lisa
