Libraries

I know that the libraries have meeting rooms free of charge for groups. I think that two of the Columbia libraries even have multiple copies of some books for "book club" use.
There are book clubs sponsored by Borders and the libraries. There are no local "book swaps/chat" though....except for this site. We could just have a "swap-meet" where we lay out all the books and see who wants which ones. Periodicals also? I get Washingtonian.      Annette
