ABOUT THE EVENT

New Work City's (http://nwc.co/) Show and Tell is a monthly showcase of the awesome stuff members of the community are doing. All presenters are current or former members of New Work City, but the event is open to anyone!

PRESENTERS:

• Ryan Himmel (http://twitter.com/bidawiz) presents BIDaWiz (http://www.bidawiz.com/), an online marketplace for finance, accounting, and tax advice and services provided by licensed business professionals.

• Marco Cusumano-Towner (http://web.mit.edu/marcoct/www/) will talk about his computational genomics project for clinical medicine, discuss the robot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy5g33S0Gzo) he helped build that folds a pile of previously-unseen towels, and talk about a few other creative projects he's interested in.

• Gerry Regan (https://twitter.com/gerregan) will be presenting TheWildGeese.com (http://thewildgeese.com) -- a venture 3,000 years in the making -- a social network, the only of its kind, devoted to exploring and celebrating the epic heritage of the Irish … worldwide. He'll talk about the strategy they're crafting to bring it to sustainability, and ask the audience for candid feedback, specific suggestions and enhancement opportunities.
