Hello CoWorking Community - my name is Amela & I'm the founder of the NYC CoWorking Network. I recently became a co-founder of this group (via Tony) as I host weekly Coworking Meet-Ups that I would love to invite you all to!
Tony, your previous host, felt as though my weekly meet-ups would be a great way to re-engage this wonderful community to check in and provide a resource where we can all meet.
I know this is a time where everyone is working remotely and I feel this group is a great place to make connection, find accountability, make new friends, and put some fun in your work day!
The way it works is I hold a weekly open CoWorking Session on Fridays. (Time is 11am-4pm* and varies based on my work schedule but I try to keep it this general time frame). Jump into our FB Group and I'll send you an event invite: https://www.facebook.com/groups/NyCCoWorkingNetwork/
Depending on the groups flow and intentions of the day we will either have catch up conversations, enter 30min - 1hr work sprints, use the time to connect with each other on feedback/projects, or just have social time to break within the work day.
It is open to ALL and everyone is welcome. I believe the best work comes from working together - and I strive to create a safe environment where everyone can share, dream big, ask for support and be where they are. All while being encouraged in a productive and fun environment.
11am-4pm Open working session with set 'work sprints'
1pm Group Discussion on set question. This week: "What's something you recently learned that you wish you knew sooner?!"
2pm (post discussion) ASK/OFFERS Session. A voluntary segment where I (the host) log the groups Asks/Offers into a document that lives for all our members to see. This is a great opportunity to offer your services, ask for support, get new ideas and ask the group for anything you might need support with. This list is then posted to our 580+ members who are able to provide feedback, links and resources.
3pm - 4pm Open working session.
Please see our FB Group Invite here and feel free to ping me (Amela Subasic) with any questions.
Looking forward to meeting all of you and re-engaging this co-working community!
With much love to share, I share.
