A COMMUNITY FOR FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY.
Welcome New York to The Art of Photography! Our purpose is to spark creativity, open new doors, incite discussion and learn from each other in a positive and sharing environment. The basis of which is to facilitate the merging of the principles of art and graphic design with excellent camera craft. To take each one of us, no matter what level of experience, to places, levels and worlds that are out of our comfort zone. To grow, to see, to inspire unique visions. Our critique programs, our photo shoots and our educational sessions are free. Your submissions for discussion are for you to choose without regard to theme or genre.
The Art of Photography began as a museum art school program in 2002 and has expanded to over 14,000 members worldwide. So many of whom have grown into fine art photographers that are hugely represented in international award shows. New York, we are truly excited for your participation and look forward to your development as Fine Art Photographers. Be on the lookout for some very exciting photo shoots and presentations that will be posted on an on-going basis. Also join our International Site to check out over 200 albums created by our members. Thank you for your interest and good shooting.

Instructions:
✅ Upload only ONE photo to the Session album AFTER you see the “Welcome …” photo (after 5 pm on Sunday).
✅ You must be attending in order for your image to be reviewed during a session.
✅ Approximately 25 photographs will be considered for review as time and content allow.
✅ Following the sessions the albums will be deleted after 5 pm on Sunday. If you wish to save your image and comments move your photo to the PHOTOGRAPHERS OPEN FORUM album.
