Event: Annual Holiday Lights Run 2013 - in connection with Salvation Army Angel Tree Program and in support of the Philippine Red Cross in an effort to support that country through the devastation recently from Typhoon.
Date: Wednesday, December 18, 2013
Location: Renaissance Hotel, 999 9th Street NW, Washington DC
Time: Arrive at 6 pm to confirm your registration; drop off toy if you bring one, collect your Beanie if you purchased one. Run will begin in waves at approximately 7 PM after some short announcements.
Price:
$5 to RUN WITHOUT Holiday Themed DCCS and Potomac River Running Store Beanie until November 30th.
$15 to RUN WITH Holiday Themed DCCS and Potomac River Running Store Beanie until November 30th.
AFTER NOVEMBER 30 -
$10 to RUN WITHOUT Beanie
$20 to RUN WITH Beanie.
We are also asking runners to bring a unopened toy for children between the ages of 3 and 14 to be donated to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Volunteers will be on hand to collect your unopened toy.
DISTANCE: a little over 4 miles
COURSE: from hotel, to Ellipse, to WWII Memorial, to Reflecting pool at Capitol and back to Hotel, course will be shared, and you will run with a pace leader/guide.
