Join DC Net Impact for a unique Earth Day volunteer service project at one of Washington's best-kept natural secrets!

We will be removing invasive species, planting, pruning and painting at Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens (http://www.friendsofkenilworthgardens.org/about-us/), a National Park that contains D.C.'s only remaining tidal marsh.

Kenilworth Park is within walking distance of the Deanwood Metro Station (Orange Line).

Make sure to dress appropriately for weather and wet, marshy conditions -- including close-toed shoes and long sleeves. Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own water bottle. For additional information about this volunteer event, click here (http://www.friendsofkenilworthgardens.org/news-and-events/events/2014/11/26/april-25-earth-day-volunteer-event/).

Join us afterward at the Anacostia Watershed Society's Earth Day Celebration (http://www.anacostiaws.org/earthday2015) in Bladensburg Waterfront Park. There will be food and live music!

DCNI only has a limited number of guaranteed spots for this event. If you are no longer able to attend, please change your RSVP to 'NO.'
