Net Impact is an international organization whose mission is to make a positive impact on society by growing and strengthening a community of new leaders who use business to improve the world. We offer a portfolio of programs to educate, equip, and inspire more than 10,000 members to make a tangible difference in their communities, organizations, and universities.

The DC Net Impact Professional Chapter (http://dcnetimpact.org) is proud to serve our nation’s capital in this noble mission. We provide networking, education, and resources to members of our community, enabling them to create change through their businesses, organizations, and personal lives.

Protect & Preserve our Waterways and Oceans

Earth Conservation Corps

Come join DC Net Impact for an evening of networking and education! We're partnering with our friends at Anacostia Riverkeeper and others to host an event focused on water conservation and preservation. Join us for an evening of networking and education to learn about the Anacostia River and the ocean, the environmental threats they're each facing, and the solutions helping to protect our most precious natural resource - water. Following a welcome reception and introduction of our Featured Guests, educational river boat tours guided by Anacostia River Explorers will set out from the Earth Conservation Center. Network with our Featured Guests and others on one of the two 30-minute guided river boat tours throughout the evening. Food and drinks from Chaia Tacos will be served! We have curated a group of Featured Water Guests spanning non-profit, corporate, government, and cause-profit businesses: Kelly Hillovsky - Social Impact Program Officer, LifeStraw Tommy Lawrence, Managing Director at Earth Conservation Corps Ben Scheelk - Senior Program Manager, The Ocean Foundation Vince Morris - Government Relations & Public Affairs, DC Water RSVP'ing is not sufficient to be granted admission!
