Environmental Advocacy & The New Administration

Details

The new Administration means new opportunities for engagement in environment & sustainability initiatives in the United States and globally

DC Net Impact invites you to hear from two experts who have spent years at the nexus of environmental legislation, advocacy, and social justice. Speakers include environmental policy expert, professor, and President of nonprofit Beyond Plastics, Judith Enck and Sarah Bittleman, Policy Director and Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of U.S. Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR)/U.S. Senate Finance Committee.

Learn where there are opportunities for individuals and organizations to seize the reinvigorated energy in environmental protection, circular economy, plastic waste reduction, and corporate responsibility following the presidential transition. What legislation should you follow? How can you contribute to individual, organizational, and corporate action? We are at a critical point in our history - what will you do?

The webinar will be at no cost to attendees, and hosted via Zoom, not Eventbrite. Zoom details will be provided directly to registered participants.

While the event is free, this is a ticketed event with limited space so please ensure that you have a ticket reserved, even if you are attending the happy hour only! RSVP'ing is not sufficient to be granted admission! You must reserve a FREE ticket via our eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/environmental-advocacy-the-new-administration-tickets-150304640225
