The DC Metro area is full of nonprofit, social sector and non-governmental organizations. Some do great work, and others don't. Wouldn't be it be nice to know which is which?

Increasingly, foundations and individual donors are trying to figure how to to measure the impact and effectiveness of nonprofits, in order to steer resources to where they can do the most good. But which measurements are the best indicators? And how can organizations best serve all their stakeholders when the definition of "effectiveness" varies?

Moderator Marc Gunther of Nonprofit Chronicles (http://nonprofitchronicles.com/) and our panel of experts will weigh in on the impact measurement trend that is having profound effects across the nonprofit sector.

The panel will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. and run approximately one hour, including Q&A.

PANELISTS:

• Jacob Harold -- President & CEO, GuideStar (http://www.guidestar.org/)

• Jennifer Lentfer -- Director of Communications, IDEX (https://www.idex.org/)

• Victoria Vrana -- Senior Program Officer, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (http://www.gatesfoundation.org/)
