Immutant 2.0

Details

If you are unfamiliar with Immutant (http://immutant.org/), it is an effort to expose JBoss (http://www.jboss.org/) technologies to Clojure without all of the JavaEE complexity. Immutant (http://immutant.org/) 1.x is built on a modified JBossAS container, but 2.x makes the container optional, allowing it to be used as a set of libraries in a standard Clojure application. We're pretty excited about this new direction, and my demo will consist of live-coding an app using these libraries, culminating with deploying said app to a cluster of unmodified WildFly (http://www.wildfly.org/) servers, allowing the app to take advantage of the load-balancing and failover features of the cluster without any code changes.

As a core member of the Immutant (http://immutant.org/) and TorqueBox (http://torquebox.org/) teams at Red Hat (http://www.redhat.com/), Toby Crawley (https://github.com/tobias) helps drive the integration of Java technologies with other JVM
languages.
