Leiningen ( https://github.com/technomancy/leiningen ) is a great build tool. It is simple, gets the job done, and you can override tons of options. But what if it doesn't quite cover your needs? At the next Den of Clojure our very own Lee Hinman of Sonian ( http://www.sonian.com/ ) will lead the crew through why's and how's of creating a Leiningen plugin.

Lee Hinman is responsible for numerous open source Clojure libraries including Cheshire ( https://github.com/dakrone/cheshire ), Clojure OpenNLP ( https://github.com/dakrone/clojure-opennlp ), maintains clj-http ( https://github.com/dakrone/clj-http ), and is an organizer and key contributor for http://clojure-doc.org/ , which is quickly becoming the main online source for Clojure documentation. By day he writes Clojure for Sonian ( http://www.sonian.com/ ), a cloud powered archiving and search company.

Although our regular meeting night is the second Thursday of the month, please note that we will hold the first meeting of the year on the third Thursday of the month to accommodate a scheduling conflict.
