For our final Devmonth event, Chad will share his knowledge on using the principles and tools of open source to provide trust and transparency and empower individuals to break down policies, decentralize decision making, and change a company for the better.

Chad is a developer, and the co-founder and CEO of thoughtbot (https://thoughtbot.com), a web and mobile product design and development company that has been in business for 13 years. In the last 4 years thoughtbot has grown from 19 people in Boston to 115 people in 10 offices around the world. We believe in continuous improvement of ourselves, our company, and our community. We use the principles and tools of open source and our product design and development practices on our own company to provide trust and transparency, and empower individuals to change our company for the better.
