Lunch&&Learn: A Guided Tour Through Elm 2.0
Join Devhub Toronto for their weekly series of Lunch&&Learns-- casual one-hour seminars with varying topics targeted at developers. Why not use your lunch break to learn something new? This week's Lunch&&Learn topic is "A Guided Tour Through Elm" presented by Dave Mills (https://www.linkedin.com/in/daegren/). Have you ever heard of this Elm thing and wondered what it is? Elm is a functional language which compiles to JavaScript, boasts higher performance than React or Angular and has no runtime exceptions! In this Lunch&&Learn we'll be taking a tour through the basics of the Elm language and working through a very basic app to explore the Elm Architecture in action. Dave has been working with computers and code for as long as he can remember. He's worked as a web developer for the last 10 years and has even dabbled with iOS and Android development. *************************************************************************** Interested in holding a Lunch&&Learn yourself?
