Hootsuite has been on an incredible journey of growth over the past 7 years. VP, Software Development, Geordie Henderson has been in leadership roles on their product development team for almost 5 years. In that time, he has been deeply involved in the Software Engineering team's growth from 12 people to well over 120. In this talk, Geordie will take you through the Hootsuite version of Engineering hyper-growth: how the team has re-invented itself several times, the big changes to our structure, technology and software practices as well as the culture and people that have made it all possible.

Geordie is the VP, Software Development at Hootsuite. He has been building software products and companies for over 15 years. Before joining Hootsuite in the early stages of rapid growth, he co-founded and grew Metalogix Software through acquisition. He is an active investor and advisor in the Vancouver startup community.
