Session #1: The DevOps Toolbox - Open Source Log Analytics

Open source log analytics platform ELK is becoming the de-facto standard in log analysis. Netflix, Verizon, and Bloomberg -- among many others -- are leveraging the tool to troubleshoot events in their systems and visualize trends.

In this session, we will share our experience in building highly scalable, elastic, and secured log analytics systems in AWS. At our company, Logz.io, we use ELK internally to monitor large AWS environment with hundreds of instances across regions and availability zones.

As part of the session, we will review our internal architecture and show a few practical use-cases for using ELK for troubleshooting, business intelligence, and security for this environment.
