December Django Meetup

Details
It's the holiday season, and what better way to relax as the year comes to a close than to go to another Django meetup?
Please register on the Skills Matter site for this meetup as well (it only takes a second!): https://skillsmatter.com/meetups/7611-django-lodnon-december-meetup . They're our kind hosts and they'll give you a pre-printed sticker with your name on when you arrive!
____________
Schedule:
Intro & Talks from 7pm
Talk 1: Django on AWS
Adam Johnson
AWS is the biggest cloud provider out there, and thus many Django projects are deployed there. This will be a tour of the key services and features on AWS and how you can integrate them with your Django project.
Talk 2: Trialling Wagtail in the Agency Setting
Gary Stevens
Wagtail is an app that can turn your Django site into a fully featured CMS. This talk will be an overview of positive outcomes of using Wagtail for a medium sized web publishing site build.
Want to give a talk? Please get in contact with the organizer for this meetup, Adam Johnson, by email at me@adamj.eu . We welcome any topic as long as it's somewhat related to Django!
SpaceBar from 8pm
Our venue, Code Node, will have a brilliant new bar open serving both soft and alcoholic drinks, as well as snacks. We're going to hang out there, and maybe bump into people from other meetups happening at the same time. Some of them will even be RUBY programmers!
The Red Lion from 9.45pm
The SpaceBar shuts around 9.45pm, so at this time we'll migrate across the road to the Red Lion pub for a final drink.
____________
This meetup is covered by a Code of Conduct, which essentially asks that all attendees are "awesome to each other" - by being respectful, inclusive, and aware. Please take a minute to read it on our Github (https://github.com/djangolondon/The-London-Django-Meetup-Group/blob/master/code_of_conduct.md). Thanks.
