ChupacabraCon Jan 17-19, 2014 in Austin, TX

Booyah! Austin's first "big" game convention at the Hilton Austin Airport. If you are new to gaming, conventions can be overwhelming or intimidating. They are a blast and great way to experience new games, meet and of course play with other gamers. I heartily recommend everyone attend one. Chupa is local and if you volunteer the attendance fee is reduced or free.

Featuring roleplaying, tabletop games, panels, special guests, vendors and more. http://www.chupacabracon.com/program

Pre-registration is open now through Jan 15th. Pre-registration Tickets are $35 for the whole weekend. $50 at the door, $25 for Friday OR Saturday only, or $15 for a Sunday only pass.  You can also volunteer or GM for a discounted or free entrance to the convention.

It's odd that the con is less than a week a way and there is still no readily available schedule on the con Website. After some digging around on Google, however, I found a link to this:

It's also odd that I looked last week, less than two weeks to the con and the schedule had half the listed games with 0/1 GMs and no detailed description. They are looking for GMs??

Hrm, I wonder if it was restricting your view for some reason. We passed 100 game sessions listed for the convention on December 12th, and close to 50 GMs.

Since we decided to use Warhorn for registrations, we've been directing registrants to Warhorn for the schedule, sorry for the confusion! We are learning a lot that will reflect on next years convention though, and probably will write our own registration coding on the website for ChupacabraCon 2!

Where do I get more information about registration, cost, how to sign up to DM something, and what is on the agenda so far?

Hey Alex. The basic game setup is just now starting to be generated from our guests, so it isn't on the website yet. You can register an account at chupacabracon.com and we are about to begin the Kickstarter. We are at Dragon's Lair every Monday from 7 pm until midnight and you can stop by and chat us up there. If you run a 4-hour session of a game then you can get in half price. If you run two 4-hour sessions, you can get in free. Or you can email me at texaspoet at gmail with your information and what you want to run on what days and times. etc. Look at ChupacabraCon.com for time slots.
