Drupal Ladder - Issue Sprint

Taoti Creative is pleased to host our second Drupal Ladder event (which we plan to do each 4th Tuesday of every month--but please always confirm via the meetup invitation, as the dates may change.) The Drupal Ladder is an initiative aimed at raising the number of drupal.org users who contribute to the Drupal core. There are two types of sprints in this initiative:
Learn sprints- where people learn how to contribute to Drupal core, and Issue Sprints- where we sit down and work on moving core issues through the issue queue.
This will be an Issue Sprint!
We will be working on moving actual Drupal 8 issues through the issue queue. (Drupal beginners would be better off waiting for our next learn sprint, as this event is for developers who have at least completed the first few rungs on the Drupal Ladder.
Experienced contributors and project maintainers: We could use help preparing a list of issues to work on at the event. Please contact Aaron (aellison@taoti.com) if interested.
To take part, you will need to bring a laptop to work on.
Our host Taoti Creative (http://www.taoti.com) will provide pizza and beer (and softdrinks). You can eat, drink and be merry from 6:30 to 7, but at 7 (sharp!), we'd like to get down to business. These events usually last about 1.5-2 hours, but you are of course free to come and go as you please.
To get the most out of this sprint we encourage everyone to visit the Drupal 8 issue queue (https://drupal.org/project/issues/drupal?status=Open&priorities=All&categories=All&version=8.x&component=All) in advance and look for issues that you would be interested in working on. Please have your development environment set up and ready to go so we can hit the ground running.
Recruiters: this is a working event and not an appropriate place to just come and socialize or recruit. Please stick to our monthly events at Stetson's.
