Drupal NoVa Meetup, Loudoun Cnty: Drupal as a front end to manage other services
Details
Drupal is great for all manner of web sites, but a web site is just one of many services a domain may provide. A corporate intranet, for example, may provide email, instant messaging and calendaring to their users. At our April meeting, John Franklin (https://www.drupal.org/user/683430) will present a case study using Drupal as a front end to manage some of these other services so that users can manage multiple services in a more centralized manner.
This will be a Loudoun County edition of our Drupal NoVa Meetup! We have had requests from those of you living/working in the Ashburn/Dulles Corridor area for a meetup near you, so we're having our April meetup at BlackMesh (http://www.blackmesh.com/contact) in Ashburn on Tuesday, April 28 at 7pm.
Address: 20130 Lakeview Center Plaza, Suite 310, Ashburn, VA 20147.
BlackMesh is located right by the intersection of Route 7 and the Loudoun County Parkway. Free parking, go to the third floor; once you come up the elevators go to the office on the left.
BlackMesh is one of our premium Drupal hosts, so this could be a good meetup to attend for those of you with hosting questions.
Note that this meetup is the fourth Tuesday of April, unlike our typical schedule of the third Tuesday of the month, usually rotating between ICF and Bixal in Fairfax. If you'd like to get signed up for a future presentation, long or short - or just a quick lightening talk - please send an email to Carla (https://groups.drupal.org/user/27106) or Kelly (https://groups.drupal.org/user/148918).
